About Kevin Park, Attorney

Kevin Park’s work at Sorey & Hoover focuses squarely on the client. While he currently represents victims of personal injury and motor vehicle accidents, he began his career as a social worker at Child Protective Services. There, he saw firsthand how complex the law could be and how critical it was for people to have advocates who could explain the legal system clearly and with empathy. That experience, along with the encouragement of those he worked with, inspired Kevin to attend law school and dedicate his career to helping clients navigate complex legal issues with confidence and understanding.

Before joining the firm, Kevin served as an Assistant District Attorney in Gregg County, Texas, handling a wide range of criminal matters including drug offenses, aggravated assault, manslaughter, and DWI cases. His experience there taught him not only the importance of preparation and integrity, but also maintaining focus on the larger goal: achieving justice while helping people move forward with their lives.

At Sorey & Hoover, Kevin prides himself on honesty and transparency. He believes clients deserve clear answers and realistic expectations, even when the truth isn’t easy to hear. He combines his background in public service with a deep understanding of how to guide people through challenging and often confusing legal situations, ensuring they feel heard, respected, and cared for.

A graduate of East Texas Baptist University, Kevin earned his law degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Outside the office, he enjoys cooking, camping, kayaking, and spending time with his dog, Nala.
