Sorey repeats on Super Lawyers; Hoover marks Rising Stars milestone 

Sorey & Hoover, LLP, partners Dan Sorey and Geoff Hoover have once again been recognized among the state’s leading personal injury attorneys by Texas Super Lawyers. 

Mr. Sorey was named to the Texas Super Lawyers guide for the sixth consecutive year for his plaintiffs personal injury work.  

Board certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Mr. Sorey has won multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements and has tried cases in five states. A former law enforcement officer, he brings investigative skills and trial experience to each matter. He was also recognized in the 2026 edition of The Best Lawyers in America for plaintiffs personal injury litigation. 

Mr. Hoover earned a place on the companion Rising Stars list, which recognizes top younger and early-career attorneys. Also board certified in personal injury trial law, he has been included on the Rising Stars list annually since 2016 and has tried more than 30 jury trials to verdict and recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for clients.
